The 2011 Kirkcaldy Comedy Festival returns Friday 30 September – Sunday 9 October with a fabulously funny programme of top comedy to get you giggling.
Stars include Mock the Week regular Jo Caulfield, Loose Woman Jenny Eclair and the most controversial comic and magician on the circuit, Jerry Sadowitz. We’ve also got a special seminar from BBC star Gary Tank Commander, free kids stand-up shows at the Mercat shopping centre and a selection of films at the Adam Smith Theatre.
The first weekend kicks off with a show from the pioneering stand-up Robin Ince, fresh from his sell-out national tour with Professor Brian Cox, plus cult comedy from Simon Munnery and high energy laughs from star of ITV’s Show Me The Funny Patrick Monahan.
The festival is showcasing some of Scotland’s finest comedy talent as Fred MacAulay brings his new 2011 show to the Adam Smith Theatre, and gallus favourites David Kay, Gary Little, Vladimir McTavish, Susan Morrison and Bob Doolally will be joining in the fun too.
